The Goal To preserve our past and prepare for the future of our community by restoring two historic buildings for public use.
Why it is important to preserve our past? Preserving historic buildings is essential to understanding our nation's heritage.
Why do we need a museum? Museums are places of study, buildings where objects of historical, scientific or artistic interest are kept, preserved and exhibited. A museum highlighting artifacts and information showcasing our town's agricultural roots, will enable the public to explore private collections for inspiration, learning and enjoyment.
Why do we need a public library? Despite the rise in technology and the number of books available online, nothing can take the place of a good library. If you love books, you'll understand that the library is an environment for learning and discovering the joy of reading.
What will a library do for our community? Studies show that one third of Americans 14 and older use library computers to look for jobs, connect with friends, do their homework and improve their lives.
